We’re also involved in aviation and transport. In commercial cleaning and government cleaning we provide support for office buildings like this complex here where there’s potentially a concierge service and support services that go along with looking after the buildings and tertiary education.
We engaged Insentra to help us with our current Citrix implementations. Prior to the production go live, the environment that was running within ISS had very limited Citrix capability. It was on a very old platform and in order for us to be able to deliver on our strategy of delivering applications, device agnostic to any location at any time. We understood that we needed to upgrade our infrastructure. Through previous experiences of dealing with Insentra, we recognised they were probably the best organisation to help us facilitate that upgrade. We run a very tight ship here, we have limited head count capability. So, what we’re looking for from Insentra is not only just to manage our environment for us but to actually help us plan and develop a strategy of how we are going to deliver applications moving forward. Early on in the project it was important for us to be able to establish a level of trust. The reality is that whenever you engage in a project, you’re always going to have difficult challenges that come up that you need to address and you need visibility to sit down with your vendor and have open and honest conversation is important to the outcome and success of the project. So, from that perspective, couldn’t fault Insentra in terms of how they engaged with us throughout the course of the project.
What’s next for Insentra and ISS? Well we believe that the end user experience and our customer experience is key to the success of Citrix in any organisation. So, you have a product call predictive analytics. We’re looking at that seriously to understand how the environments work generally on a day to day basis and what can we do differently to improve those environments from a user experience perspective.
When IT becomes an opportunity for people to enjoy being at work because the technology works really well, you get a level of engagement and then you get a level of service that’s high quality and if we can be predictive and be pre-emptive in how the technology is performing before somebody has a bad experience, it goes a long way to being a successful IT organisation.
