Hi I am Simon Altit, Director of EMEA at Insenta.
I started off in IT nearly 10 years ago in an integrator with a number of other people that work at Insentra. I was very fortunate to be asked to join them in starting this business and the reasons for that is predominately why I would say anybody should do business with Insentra. Which is predominately to do with the fact that it’s a bunch of really strong people who are really focused on delivering outstanding outcomes!
I started in this business right at the bottom and I have been coached and trained into what is now one of the Directors of this business.
Insentra was started to solve what we believe was a very pervasive issue in the market, which was the lack of availability of solid presales skills and more importantly really strong delivery skills that would aid with customers getting the outcomes they were hoping for.
Insentra started as an Australian business. But over the years we were fortunate to build a very strong reputation in a number of spaces, which enabled us to do some delivery overseas. We learnt very quickly that we had a very strong set of skills that were demanded outside of Australia, so we invested in a number of different places where we had some really strong individuals.
So off the back of having some strong resources in specifically the UK and the US, we made a decision that we should go out there and nail a flag into the ground and really start selling our capabilities and competencies in a number of spaces.
Trust is a very common discussion when we are out meeting partners and when we are talking to customers. And I think the best way that I can articulate trust is really to hark back on experience. The reason that people can trust us is that we have a huge amount of experience in the areas which we choose to go out and have discussions with customers in. We haven’t done this once or twice. We have been through the hard yards of really learning how to do a lot of stuff from the ground up and we have hired some really strong individuals which has helped us build an outstanding team and really deliver great outcomes on a consistent basis.
Partner only from an Insentra perspective means that we will only ever interact and engage with clients via a partner. And when I say engage, what I really mean is we will transact through a partner. We have no desire, no interest, to ever sell directly to a customer. They are our partners and that is our transaction route to market.
Insentra is in the fortunate position that we have a strong reputation. A strong brand with a lot of the customers that we have worked with before. And quite often what that means is customers come looking to us to assist them with other projects and our default position is – we engaged with you via Partner A on the last project and we want to engage with Partner A again. And that is what partnering is to us. A partner gave us an opportunity to work with one of their accounts and what we want to do is repay the partner with every opportunity we find there.
