Backup as a Service
Insentra offer Office 365 Backup as a Service (BaaS) for any of the following products: Exchange Online, SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business. The service will provide a comprehensive backup service with simple restore procedure.
BaaS is designed to complement the geographic redundancy and the archiving and legal hold functions of Office 365. By using BaaS for Office 365, mailboxes, files and folders can be restored in full almost instantly.
The Backup as a Service solution will provide:
- Configuration of backup tenancy
- Backup monitoring and reporting
- Configuration of Exchange mailboxes and Files in SharePoint and OneDrive for Business for backup
- Up to 10 restores per month

Restore requests will be actioned during business hours (9am–5.30pm Mon–Fri) with a response SLA of 2 hours within business hours. Urgent restore requests outside of these hours will attract a fee per restore. Requests for restore can be made by sending a request to firstname.lastname@example.org or by logging a ticket on the Insentra support portal.
To provide a comprehensive service and ensure data is protected Backup as a Service will automatically add new mailboxes found in the tenant to the backup. These will be charged automatically at the end of each month and billed quarterly. Reporting will be provided to let you know of any changes to your subscription each month and you can opt out of backing up any mailbox you require.
